Quadricentennial Programming: Quadricentennial- History Riddle Mystery 09/27/2009

The culmination of Chittenden County'S Historical Societies' Quadricentennial Event. Participants in the 'History Mystery' are awarded prizes for their reposnses to 18 riddles – one for each community in Chittenden County.  “History Detectives” had to go to each town to find the answers.

Ward 4 & 7 NPA Meeting 09/22/2009

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to empower citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies facilitate communication between the citizens of Burlington and city government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Wards 4 & 7 meet the third Tuesday of the month. Meeting place: Robert E. Miller Community Center 130 Gosse Court.

It’s an initiative that helps gets more kids walking and bicycling to school. Local Motion is partnering with VTrans and the Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization on this effort. We’re currently in 22 schools across Chittenden County. We’ve invited a family who will talk about their experience walking and bicycling to school.

CCTV Receives NEH Grant to Support Community Archives

CCTV Center for Media & Democracy is pleased to announce receipt of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant alongside 32 peer archival institutions across the country.
