The Scott Administration will hold a series of briefings for legislators over the next two weeks on a range of issues that are important to Vermont communities. The briefings will provide an efficient overview of major issue areas that the Governor will prioritize this session and allow for an open exchange between executive and legislative branch officials. One goal is to provide lawmakers the opportunity to communicate with and hear from Administration officials on topics that are important to them and their constituents, but may not fall under their committee’s jurisdiction.

Results are in; Vermont voters overwhelmingly elected pro-environment and pro-climate lawmakers in the general election, resulting in a resounding call for action to combat the intensifying climate crisis and support a resilient Vermont.

Several of Vermont’s leading environmental organizations host a virtual press conference to discuss the results of the 2022 General Election, and what it means for Vermonters – particularly when it comes to addressing the intensifying environmental crisis.
