Description

This month on RAD-TV we speak with Brian Cina, State Representative for Chittenden 6-4, and Brandon Del Pozo, Chief of Police for the City of Burlington. Host Tom Proctor discusses Mark Hughes' #EndslaveryVT initiative and why we are still talking about slavery in Vermont in 2019, and Brian Cina talks about the H.478 Bill he recently introduced to the Vermont legislature calling for a task force to study and consider a state apology and proposal for reparations for the institution of slavery.

Both guests weigh in on the effects of the drug war on minorities in Vermont, what will change with cannabis legalization and what, if anything, should be done with tax money brought in from the cannabis industry to remedy historical inequalities.
