Description

Sandy Baird announces 2018's Vermont Peace Conference and then is joined by Kurt Mehta and Ian Stokes to discuss war and foreign policy regarding Syria and Palestine.

The Vermont Peace Conference is slated for May 12, 2018, and is hosted by the Burlington Peace and Justice Center. The Conference will bring together Vermonters to explore approaches to disarmament and ending war, while supporting racial, economic, social, and climate justice. Workshops present the content for the majority of the day. They include an educational component, as well as a key focus on potential solutions.
