Description

This week's show is "A Tale of Two Futures" as a takeoff of the Dickens classic "A Tale of Two Cities." The episode contrasts the optimistic view of our present course offered by Harvard Psychologist Steven Pinker in his book "The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined," with a more pessimistic view expressed by former CIA Analyst Martin Gurri in a book titled "The Revolt of The Public and the Crisis of Authority in the New Millennium."
