At a mobile home housing co-op in Burlington’s North End, Rep. Welch discusses his initiative to assist low-income mobile homeowners. His bipartisan legislation, which recently passed the House, expands Section 8 federal housing assistance to cover mobile homeowners’ previously ineligible expenses, including property taxes, insurance, and utilities. He is joined at the event by Mayor Miro Weinberger and affordable housing leaders.
