Description
I Breathe: Lily's Legacy focuses on an eight-year-old Italian Greyhound whose life inspired an organization that has saved thousands of dogs with a similar plight. It is an in depth and emotional look at the highly controversial multi billion dollar world of commercial dog breeding. It is told through the perspective of breeders and rescue workers. Lily lived the majority of her life in a commercial kennel. She was purchased at a dog auction for twenty dollars and found her 'forever home'. Because of the way she lived, and her premature death, Lily became the driving force behind National Mill Dog Rescue, which rehabilitates and re-homes dogs like her. The video was produced by Jene Nelson.
