Burlington Discover Jazz Festival - Local School Bands 06/09/2023

School bands are always a big part of the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival and this year, for the 40th anniversary, we are excited to welcome 39 student bands from around the region to perform on Church Street Marketplace. From June 7-9, school bands play at four different locations along Church Street, so listen to and watch these young musicians and all the spirit and excitement they bring to this beloved annual event.

Burlington City Council 03/25/2019

The Burlington City Council meets on Mondays, often three times each month at 7pm. Their meetings air live on Channel 317 (Burlington Telecom) and repeat on Channel 17 at the air times listed below.

Burlington Board of Health: Burlington Board of Health 02/14/2019

The Board of Health coordinates foremost with the Code Enforcement Office, and then with other city and state offices and programs. The Board of Health reviews and approves all health order requests by the Health Officers and hears and decides the first level of appeal on such orders. The Board of Health may recommend health-related rules and regulations, ordinances and policies. The Board of Health cooperates with local and state organizations to provide public discussion and education. And finally, the Board of Health considers for recommendation to the Vermont Department of Health all applicants for city Health Officers.

Monthly meetings will occur on the second Thursday of each month at alternating locations. The meetings will begin at 6:30 PM with the duration depending on the agenda items.

All regular meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Meeting dates, times and locations may be changed at the discretion of the Board. Occasional Special Meetings of the Board will be posted at least 24 hours in advance of meetings.

Alternative formats for persons with disabilities are needed, please call 802.863.0442 (voice) or 802.863.0450 (TTY) at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.

City Hall Park Ad-Hoc Committee Meeting 06/12/2018

On April 16, 2018, the City Council passed a resolution to establish a City Hall Park design Ad Hoc Committee to consider and make recommendations to City Council regarding modifications to the current City Hall Park renovation Tree Plan.
