Thank you, howard Center and Public Works
Thank You for helping celebrate 30 Years of CCTV Thanks to all of you who attended CCTV's 30th Anniversary shindig. We had a wonderful time--reminding us that, together, we have opened the doors of local government, put cameras in the hands of activists, unlocked the mysteries of the Internet, and helped nonprofit organizations to become effective agents of change.
Our newest project, the Civic Cloud Collaborative, points to the next frontier of public access. The project harnesses the smarts of civic hackers and the immense power of Burlington Telecom. The Civic Cloud is a newly launched local platform for non-commercial Internet applications and creative works. With our partners in the community media and developer community, we are creating a public space for the next generation of community-based Internet projects to develop, flourish and fly.
Please join us with a generous contribution to CCTV's Free Speech Fund. With your support we can continue to develop new ways to advance and protect free speech and public access well into the future.
With gratitude and excitement for the years ahead!
