Included on the panel is wildlife ecologist, naturalist, author and co-founder of Peak Keepers, Susan Morse of Jericho; writer on wildlands and co-editor of the new book ENERGY: Overdevelopment and the Illusion of Endless Growth", Tom Butler; well-known botanist and founder of the Center for Northern Studies, Dr. Steve Young of Wolcott; and former aide to Vermont US Senators Stafford and Jeffords, Bruce Post of Essex. Moderator is Annette Smith, Vermonters for a Clean Environment.

Vermont Community Preschool Collaborative Vermont preschoolers benefit from an innovative partnership forged by the Vermont Community Preschool Collaborative. For the past ten years, Vermont funders, educators and state officials have been working together to prepare the state's young children to be ready for kindergarten--providing benefits to young students, their families and saving funds that would later be used for remediation. Rick Davis, President of The Permanent Fund for Vermont’s Children, Diana Langston, Director of Early Education in the Burlington School District, and Frank Perotti, former superintendent of the Springfield School District, now working for the VCPC, discuss the importance and future plans of this vital collaboration.
