Eric Kaza, Live Show Volunteer and TV Guest
Eric Kaza of Shelburne learned about volunteering at CCTV through the United Way. Volunteering here was a way for him “to learn how media works on a small scale.”
Although he comes in contact with several different shows during his regular Tuesday evening sessions, he is particularly impressed with the Free University. “They generate good discussions on subjects that are not talked about enough,” said Eric.
He is pleasantly surprised by how many people watch CCTV. “It is more than I thought. Lots of people call in. They’re involved in the community and they are passionate.” That connection to the community has lead Eric to recommend volunteering at CCTV to his friends. Look for Eric in front of the camera later this summer when he hosts a show with video and photo highlights from his hike of the Long Trail.
