Burlington Ward 4 and Ward 7 NPA Meeting Mayoral Candidate Forum 01/28/2015

Neighborhood Planning Assemblies (NPAs) are grassroots, neighborhood organizations that were established in each of Burlington's seven Wards to empower citizen participation in City government. Working as neighborhood advocacy groups, Neighborhood Planning Assemblies facilitate communication between the citizens of Burlington and city government through regular meetings scheduled in each Ward. Wards 4 & 7 meet the third Tuesday of the month. Meeting place: Robert E. Miller Community Center 130 Gosse Court.

Essex Planning Commission 01/22/2015

This meeting is in regards to zoning amendment changes. The Planning Commission meetings are all held at the Town Offices at 81 Main Street in Essex Junction, in the downstairs conference room on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Burlington Business Association: Annual Summit - Housing and its Link to BTV's Future Economy 01/14/2015

In Burlington the average household spends 44% of its income on housing costs. The business community reports that the local housing market makes it challenging to recruit employees, retain professionals and grow our economy. The good news, however, is that work is being done to address the issue. Projects are on the table.

This Summit will focus on the "Housing Crisis" with a program that informs its members and motivates them to support change.

Wards 1 and 8 meet the second Wednesday of the month.

Colchester Development Review Board 01/14/2015

The Colchester Development Review Board is charged with processing site plan, subdivision, and conditional use applications and variance requests and appeals of the Zoning Administrator's determinations. Board meetings are at 7:00 PM on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Colchester Meeting House in the Village.
