CCTV's 25 Year Celebration at the Community Boathouse - Speeches and Awards 06/13/2009

CCTV Celebrated 25 Years of free speech and public access at the Burlington Boathouse on June 13, 2009. Executive Director Lauren-Glenn Davitian handed out awards to CCTV founders and champions, Steve Norman sang a Woody Guthrie song and Senator Bernie Sanders gave a brief speech about Lauren-Glenn and Nat Ayer. Music also performed by Flood in the Fizzy Factory, with CCTV former database developer Jim White.

CCTV Receives NEH Grant to Support Community Archives

CCTV Center for Media & Democracy is pleased to announce receipt of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Humanities Collections and Reference Resources grant alongside 32 peer archival institutions across the country. This $49,927 grant award will support efforts to preserve and expand access to audio/visual community history materials in the CCTV Archives. Read more about this opportunity here!
