Community leaders and interested people are invited to attend a second 100 minute discussion (2.30 - 4pm) on how to protect (and expand) and open internet and local media network. What do you think we need to do to make sure that activists and nonprofits, public agencies can tell their story and mobilize support at all times? How can we make the most out of Burlington's public broadband operation? What community needs inform the renewal of the Comcast public access contracts in 2010? Just in time for planning locally, we have also been asked to collect ideas to influence the Internet policy of the new Administration. This meeting is funded in part by the Media Justice Fund.
